Terms

Clear terms for a clear quote flow.

Effective July 10, 2026. These terms describe the rules for using FolioLayer workspaces, private proposal links, approval records, AI assistance, and paid publishing.

Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate account information, protect your login, and use FolioLayer only for lawful business proposals. Do not probe, disrupt, automate abusive traffic, upload harmful content, impersonate others, or use the service to violate another person’s rights.

Your quotes and client data

You retain responsibility for the content you enter and confirm that you have authority to use client information. You are responsible for checking pricing, scope, deposit terms, contact details, and generated text before publishing a proposal link.

Proposal approvals

FolioLayer records the approver name, email, time, and an immutable snapshot of the displayed commercial terms. The service does not charge a card or replace any signature, contract, invoice, tax, or compliance process your business may separately require.

AI-generated drafts

AI-assisted copy is optional and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You must review and edit generated content before relying on it. Do not submit confidential information that is not needed to prepare the proposal.

Subscriptions

Paid plans renew through Stripe until canceled. You can manage or cancel the subscription from billing settings; cancellation takes effect according to the period shown there. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Publishing access depends on the current subscription state.

Availability and changes

We may improve, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these terms as the service changes. We work to keep FolioLayer available and accurate, but the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or a particular business outcome.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict access when needed to protect users, comply with law, address nonpayment, or stop misuse. You may stop using the service at any time and can request account deletion, subject to records we must retain for billing, security, or legal obligations.

Responsibility and disputes

To the extent permitted by law, FolioLayer is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, or business decisions made from a quote. Contact us first about any concern so we can try to resolve it promptly; rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
